What is

Getchy is a project of the Discovery Youth Program of the Children's Discovery Museum of San Jose. Fifth to Ninth graders from around the Bay Area meet on a weekly basis at the CDMedia Studio to write, draw, exchange ideas, and learn the skills they need to create everything you find here at Getchy.com.

The Discovery Youth Program is a fun-filled, work-based learning experience, nationally recognized by the Institute of Museums and Library Services! Discovery Youth participants engage in multimedia, science, and creative arts learning, as well as community service at Children's Discovery Museum and in the community.
