What goes through Genisis' mind during bio...... ( remember, we don't have spell
checks in our thoughts, so if something is spelled wrong, that the thoughts
fault) A SHORT STORY
i guess sitting is something fun. i mean, it's practically all you do in this
room. Yeap, besides listening to the teacher, but we all know that's not fun.
i guess i should listen, i am doing bad in this class. but sitting is better.
i really don't care. summer is right around the corner. i have senioritits,
but i'm not a senior! oh well, hey at least i'm awake. well, actually my right
eye is shut. oops! okay, now it's not. sheesh, i think i need more sleep. oh,
i can catch up on that over the weekend. oh, but i have plans. well, maybe i'll
sleep in on Sunday. hmmm.... well, actually i cant either. Gosh! i can't get
any sleep. school starts too early. yeah. i think i'm going to decide that.
why would anyone in their right mind want to wake up at 5 in the moprning to
get ready to spend 6 hours teaching kids who practically all the time aren't
paying attention because they are so sleepy from waking up at 5, too! it's like
we are crazy. i think a normal day should go like this.. first we wake up no
later than 11, then got o school @ 12, and then go home at 3, the latest. i
think school should be 3 hours long. no more than 5 classes a day and they should
be only like 30 minutes long. yea, i could do that. i mean at klest i would
be wide awake to pay atention to this bio stuff. i mean, who cares if there
are kindoms and phylums. i like it when you just say, "that's a cat, that's
a dog, that's a bird." simple as that. no questions asked. kind of like how
i told Beckie that i didn't want to go swimming on Firday. yep, just like that.
suprisingly, she didn't ask any questions like, "why?" whooa! that is strange,
it's very strange. i mean, you can't ever get her to be quiet. it's like her
mouth has a non stop battery. it probaly recharges when she sleeps. hey, i wonder
if she is tired right now, too. i mean , she goes to sleep earlier that i do,
but she is in an intersting class. OFF PERIOD!!! sehssh! i can't believe that....
whooa, what flew by the window?
-Genisis! Are you paying attention?
-Oh, of course ms. sealston.
-That's good.
What's good? that i have to sit through this LONG period and pay attention to
something that im not gonna use because i don't want to be a scientist or classify
animals. yeah, that's what i thought! hey, actually i am thinking.... whooa.
okay Genisis, now you are going wacko. wait a minute, i didn't get a call from
Josh last night. he was supposed to call me. what a weirdo. now i don't have
my spanish homework. why didn't i just call him then? why am i so forgetful?
everyone makes fun of me because i spend like 10 minutes at my locker, and i
forget things all the time. they say, "Gen, how could you forget something when
you spend so long rechecking everything?" i think it's funny how i am like that.
-okay, Gen, did you just see John go by? Wow, he's really hot.
-that's nice Eliza.
man, there goes my train of thought, again. i feel so tired. Gosh, okie, now
what is ms. sealston taking about? Hey i guess that's neat. oh, no, no, never
mind. why can't i sit here and enjoy class? no, i cant, i have to sit. SIT!

-did you see Tara walk by?
-Tara?
-yeah, are you still friends with her?
-um, yeah.
Why'd she wanna know baout Tara? why does the whole world know about rumors,
but not the truth. i mean, we never got into a fight! we only told eachother
that we where mad at Kat. and people think we are mad at eachother. evesdroppers...
what's up with that? weird, you know, how rumors work. first it is like, well,
i saw here do that, so i think that she really was doing this. then they go
tell someone else, and then they say what they thought, and they add a little
bit more to the story to make their picture work. it's crazy. i mean, it's a
big game of telephone. what if i told someone i wanted these new shoes at a
store. it would probably end up, "Josh left his shoes at Gen's house, and he
had to run home barefoot because he was grounded and his parents caled her house
and then....." gosh, i think it would probably end up like that. its soo annoying.
ohhh, i also hate it when people just pop into your conversations, and then
are like, who said that? well, if i wanted you to know, i would tell you!!!!!!!!!!!
GOOOOOSH! it just makes me sooo mad... oh joy! the end of the period... i think
