At christmas in the park we helped decorate big wooden boxes so they would look like presents. We also used ladders to put garland on the walls. Christmas in the Park is an event where people from all over San Jose come to enjoy the decorations.

Part of DY came back to christmas in the part to decorate the DY tree. We used old CDs to make recycled ornaments that little kids in the Museum decorated.

We help by cutting zippers, putting papers into envelopes and much more. RAFT stands for Resource Area for Teachers. Teachers go there to get supplies for their students.

Lots of toys... we helped sort and give toys to families for the holidays.

We sorted gifts into piles for children who have low income to get gifts for the holidays.

Here we helped the workers organize clothes for people that need them. We organized them by mens, womens, and kids clothes. CLICK HERE to see more about what we do at Sacred Heart.

We need a nice garden to show the kids and their parents at the museum. So we pulled out the weeds, and we planted new plants and flowers.

The Guadalupe River needed our help, so we got to work.  We pulled over 18 bags of trash from the river!!!!!

The DY Leadership Team made this project happen. We planted and beautified the entire plaza, including putting in new grass!

We cleaned the river to have a clean city, and boy were we surprised of pulled out. We pulled out a bag full of glass, a bicycle frame and much more litter.

We taught the little kids how to be healthy and stay healthy by doing some activities. One activity we did was making fruit smoothies. Another was healthy teeth puppets. Another was pin the food on the food pyramid.
